The Italian edition of Vogue might not hold the prestige it once did, but that still doesn’t stop a plethora of A-list talent lining up to become cover stars. Throughout 2025, names like Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, Vittoria Ceretti, Hailey Bieber, Mikey Madison, Sabrina Carpenter, and Mia Goth have covered the Italian fashion bible. Francesca Ragazzi, who has served as head of editorial content since 2021, welcomes a trio of rising stars from the world of modeling as cover girls. Across three covers, models Divine Mugisha, Wali Deutsch, and Betsy Gaghan become the cover girls for the December 2025 issue of Vogue Italia. The girls posed for the photographer Collier Schorr for the occasion. Yohana Lebasi reported for styling duties, who selected looks from Gucci and vintage Alexander McQueen for the girls to showcase.

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:
“A McQueen skull scarf on the cover of Vogue Italia? Really?” asked carla56.
“Not the McQueen skull scarf on the cover of Vogue. What’s next? A middle-aged Karen from Wisconsin carrying a Neverfull? Tragic,” chimed in FashionPower.
“It’s giving Dazed, not Vogue Italia,” Kanzai critiqued.
Also not exactly impressed was tigerrouge, commenting: “It’s like the magazine equivalent of a school project!”
“What dress code are they breaking? Giving us ugly, sloppy, and depressing is what the dress code has been for the last 15 years,” MyNameIs voiced.
“Collier Schorr is the worst photographer working in fashion I swear. Those drab colour schemes and the whole ‘life is being sucked out of me’ aesthetic is truly gross,” ranted Fiercification.
