At the 83rd Annual Golden Globes, Jennifer Lopez embraced the naked dressing trend in a sheer gown. The “Maid in Manhattan” actress left fans awestruck as she showcased her impeccable fashion sense and toned abs by donning a vintage gown featuring hundreds of yards of silk tulle in the skirt.

Jennifer Lopez wore a sheer dress from Jean Louis Scherrer Haute Couture 2003 at the 2026 Golden Globes. The dress featured a mermaid silhouette and a brown lace pattern throughout the form-fitting bodice. Additionally, it had a skirt that flared into yards of silk tulle at the bottom, adding movement to the outfit. The brown appliqué was adorned with sparkling stones in some places.
While speaking to Entertainment Tonight‘s Kevin Frazier on the red carpet, Lopez revealed that she owned the dress. She told Frazier, “I got it from LILY et Cie. It’s my own. It’s a vintage gown from the early 2000s.” She also joked that she would hopefully get to talk about this dress even two years later.
LILY et Cie took to Instagram on January 12 to address Lopez’s iconic fashion moment. The caption alongside a video from the red carpet read, “A legend at the pinnacle of her power swathed in a french couture fantasy of baroque embroidery that becomes a second skin crafted from hundreds of yards of silk tulle, exquisitely appliquéd with lace and hand-ornamented with stones. This is a level of workmanship possible only from a venerable grand couture house.”
Styled by Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, Lopez paired the dress with Christian Louboutin shoes. She accessorised with Sabyasachi earrings and rings and a Judith Leiber clutch. She wore her brown hair in a stylish updo with a single loose tendril framing her face, courtesy of Chris Appleton. Her makeup was simple with a nude lip and smoky eyes.
