If you’re a sports fanatic, finding new ways to rep your team each week can be a headache. Maybe your team’s colors aren’t the cutest, or sporting a jersey can feel blah. For a bit of inspiration, look no further than Taylor Swift. The singer arrived at yesterday’s Chiefs game in the most unexpected yet spirited makeup look.
On October 8, Swift made an appearance at the Chiefs vs. New Orleans Saints game, arriving with her father in tow. The Red singer opted for a matching tartan Vivienne Westwood set (it’s one of her favorite designers), swapping her go-to rusty red lipstick for a glossy true red. All seemed to be following her typical outfit formula, but there was one twist: Dotted across her face were shimmering golden freckles.

Some fans paint their face, but Swift is making the case for golden freckles. She tried on Fazit’s Temporary Faux Freckles across her cheeks and nose, adding a pretty shine to her complexion. Temporary flash tattoos feel like a relic of Coachellas past, but with Swift’s stamp of approval, the cutesy shimmery freckles are bound to become a trend this fall. What’s more, they followed the Chiefs’ golden color palette.
The rest of her glam was standard—she wore her go-to winged eyeliner complete with black mascara and a glossy red lip. She styled her hair into a bouncy ponytail, leaving her bangs to rest right at eyebrow length.

Upcoming college tailgate? Don’t forget your golden faux freckles. Next time, skip applying freckles using a pen or pencil, and opt for a quick set of temporary flash tattoos like Swift. You’ll leave the house feeling bejeweled.
