Hailey Bieber’s Toffee Chrome Nails Will Be Everywhere This Fall

Case in point: Her new Rhode Barrier Butter and toffee chrome nails, both of which are destined to be fall’s biggest hits.

On October 8, Rhode announced its newest product, a nighttime barrier balm that feels like butter. While the newness doesn’t officially drop until later this month, Bieber gave us a little treat until then: She posted her updated makeup routine to TikTok wearing a chic shimmery manicure.

Her new nails have all the making of a viral Bieber manicure. They feature her signature rounded almond shape, have a hint of shine, and have a low-key neutral base. The base coat looks like a soft creamy caramel beige (or a delicious piece of toffee, hence the name). Of course, the nails were finished with a layer of chrome for a velvety shine that reflects throughout the video. And thus, the toffee chrome nails were born.

While darker, chocolate nails are always popular come fall, lighter shades of brown have been taking over. Bieber’s first fall manicure was a lighter brown chestnut shade, and Selena Gomez’s toffee nails were further proof that the shade was taking off.

In the video, Bieber is applying her fall makeup go-tos in a slick bun and oversized leather jacket. She starts by applying the Dior Forever Foundation Stick, which she mixed with the Rhode’s Glazing Milk before blending it across her face. Then, she went in with the Tom Ford Cream Contour Duo before dotting on concealer and her Pocket Blush. She finished the look with a swipe of Westman Atelier’s Eye Want You Mascara and some faux freckles.
