The actor debuted an unexpected new color and an extra long length for her latest campaign with On.

During her Challengers press tour, the actor debuted a caramel blonde shade with lighter strands and she’s kept the color ever since. Until now, that is. Zendaya posted a behind-the-scenes look at the campaign photos on Instagram, showing off the dreamy green mountainside in Switzerland and her take on the blonde trend.

In the photos, Zendaya has extra long curls that wave in the wind, illuminating her blonde-ish copper color. In the video she posted, the color leans more copper with flecks of chantilly blonde strands lightening up the auburn shade. She left her roots dark which added another pretty layer of color into her copper blonde.

When icons switch up their hair for photoshoots, red carpets, or performances, it’s always tough to tell if it’s a permanent change. No matter the case, Zendaya’s new color is so perfect for fall and puts an interesting take on the current blonde trend.

Since On is an athleisure and running brand, the Challengers star wore natural-looking makeup with just a light swipe of mascara and a glowy light layer of foundation for the shoot.
