Gigi Hadid’s Red Rose Nails Will Cure Your Fall Blues

It’s so easy to get trapped in the fall blues. Moody manicure shades, cooler weather, and bundled up outfits can be a recipe for feeling…bleh. Gigi Hadid’s ultra-bright red manicure, however, is proof that the smallest bright touches can make a difference. The model tried on the style while shooting for Maybelline in New York, and she paired the nails with a chic beauty hack.

On November 13, Hadid was seen out and about in New York City shooting a Maybelline add, posing with pretzels and on top of a taxi cab all while applying the brand’s lipstick. If it was anyone else, there would likely be a commotion, but it was clear Hadid was on-set and in model mode. For the occasion, she matched her red nails to her lipstick, one of the oldest beauty tricks in the book that never fails.

Hadid’s nails were simple, but packed a punch. She opted for an almond-shaped base, topping it with a bright firetruck-red shade that matched the red stripes in her polo top. The nails were complete with a glossy coat that added a luxe feel. Some of her nails were complete with 3D details, which appear to be shaped like roses. In a sea of brown and nude polish, Hadid’s bright color stands out, making the case for re-introducing red back into our manicure rotation. Not to mention she paired it with a red lip, albeit it was a softer shade, but still, the coordinating look was so chic.

Of course, the model styled her now signature flippy bob for the moment. In one look, Hadid’s bob was parted to the side and slicked-back with a wet-like effect, the ends curling up behind her neck. Later in the day, the model changed into a bright yellow sweater with a fresh blowout and a hot pink lip color.
