Seems like Anya Taylor-Joy has been inspired by Kim Kardashian. The actress attended the 16th Governors Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday. She looked like a vision in white in a completely sheer piece. Needless to say, her Maison Margiela corset gown now tops every fashion enthusiast’s wishlist.

Looks like Anya Taylor-Joy and Kim Kardashian have one thing in common — their love for sheer corset gowns from Maison Margiela. The “Queen’s Gambit” star was recently spotted at the 16th Governors Awards in a stunning white piece from the French luxury fashion house’s Fall-Winter 2025 Couture collection.
The gown featured a sleeveless silhouette, a high neckline, and layers of chiffon flowing from the waist downwards. It created a flowy pattern while accentuating her features beautifully.
The actress paired the white jersey corseted gown with Tiffany & Co. jewelry. As per Page Six, her bling included a necklace with Akoya pearls and diamonds, the Soleste diamond ring, diamond drop earrings, as well as the new Birds on a Rock Wings ring.
To complete her look, the 29-year-old wore a pair of pumps from the same brand and kept the rest of her look simple, with minimal makeup. She also left her hair loose for the event, simply parting it neatly down the middle.

The luxury fashion house is also a favorite of the SKIMS founder. Kardashian wore another piece from the same collection, with the accompanying face mask, at the 2025 Academy Museum Gala. However, “The Witch” star skipped the mask, opting for nude lingerie underneath the gown for an edgy look.
And needless to say, her fit impressed all. Fans were quick to praise the actress in the comments section of her Instagram post. One said that she looked like a “goddess.” While another noted that she is “always exquisite.”
