Over recent years, the Italian edition of Vogue has become extremely hit and miss. Throughout 2025, we fawned over cover offerings starring the likes of Vittoria Ceretti, Hailey Bieber, and Sabrina Carpenter. On the flip side, covers with Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, and Mikey Madison were somewhat of a flop (to say the very least). Francesca Ragazzi, who has served as head of editorial content since 2021, secures one of the fashion industry’s most in-demand faces for the February 2026 issue. Up next on the cover of Vogue Italia is Awar Odhiang, who poses for the magazine via the lens of Rafael Pavarotti. In the striking, bold, and graphic image, Awar is dressed by stylist George Krakowiak on location in Cervinia, high in the Italian Alps, showcasing a look from Pierpaolo Piccioli’s debut Balenciaga collection.

“What a fantastic, bold, and visually arresting cover. I love absolutely everything about it, from the fact that it’s Awar Odhiang to the Balenciaga coat and the dramatic landscape to the art direction (which oddly doesn’t bother me and perhaps should). Bravo Vogue Italia, bravo!” applauded vogue28.
“This is stunning. BRAVO!” cheered an elated marsnoop2.

“Absolutely obsessed with Awar’s quiet and composed glamour, just like everyone else,” chimed in an equally as impressed hamburgers.
