At a New York screening of “The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants” on December 18, Ice Spice wore an ivory bra and thong set underneath a sheer lace dress. The songstress made her voice acting debut in the film as a ticket taker in an amusement park. She also contributed an original song to the soundtrack, a kid-friendly bop titled “Big Guy.”

Ahead of the screening, Ice Spice was spotted in New York City sporting a sheer dress from Bluemarine. According to the brand’s official website, the dress features a sweetheart neckline, long sleeves with flared cuffs, and tulle inserts at the neck and hips. While Rebrodè lace is used for the bodice, the skirt is made from Valenciennes lace. The dress is body-hugging up to the thighs before flaring into a floor-length skirt. It currently retails for $1,589.
The “Munch” singer wore a bra and thong set underneath the sheer dress, adding a bolder edge to the look. She completed the look with white platform mules, diamond studs, and a diamond cross necklace. She styled her bubblegum pink hair in voluminous waves with a side part. Meanwhile, her makeup leaned into soft glam with winged eyeliner and a glossy nude pink lip.
In a film featurette released by Paramount Pictures last month, the Bronx native shared that she has always been a fan of SpongeBob SquarePants. She said, “I think I manifested this. It was a challenge, but it was really fun, new and different. I never did anything like this.”
Further, in a statement obtained by Billboard, the 25-year-old said, “Being part of the SpongeBob soundtrack is such a full-circle moment for me. It’s crazy to see my music in a movie that’s been part of so many people’s childhoods, including mine.” Earlier this year, she made her feature film debut in Spike Lee’s “Highest 2 Lowest.”
