Jennie Kim’s Dark Aura Nails Are the Best Halloween Mani Inspo

Halloween is just around the corner and if you don’t have a costume planned yet, we recommend you start with some spooky nails. It’s the best (and easiest) way to get in the mood that might jumpstart your costume brainstorm. Lucky for us, BlackPink’s Jennie Kim just gave us the perfect Halloween manicure inspiration.

For her recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel, the pop star opted for a fresh set from Zola Ganzorigt, the genius behind Hailey Bieber’s beloved glazed manicures. The mani put an edgy twist on the classic aura design and paired so well with the red accessories and makeup in her outfit.

Ganzorigt posted a close-up of the nails to her Instagram, which showed the vampy aura blobs front and center. Kim’s square-shaped nails had a black base (courtesy of OPI’s Black Onyx) and a candy apple red aura blob (the brand’s Big Apple Red) right in the center, which was very much giving black widow vibes. The design is perfect for Halloween—it’s not too costume-y or on the nose, but fits right in with a spooky black and red color palette.

Halloween-y nail inspiration is everywhere this year, especially if you’d prefer to stray from the typical spooky nail art and dark color palette. You could try on a neon green manicure for a Brat costume or a green and pink mismatched manicure for a Wicked-esque nail look.

To pair with her nails, Kim donned long black waves (going back to her natural color after donning a supermodel blonde color at Paris Fashion Week) and a glittery going-out makeup look. Her cheeks were frosted with champagne highlighter and a pop of red blush, with black eyeliner being the statement of her glam. The look was complete with blurred red lipstick.
