In the beauty world, there’s never a dull moment. For example, this past weekend was packed full of pretty Hollywood glamour at the Governors Awards, Charli XCX was on SNL, a new cinnamon-flavored Rhode Lip Tint dropped, and early on Monday morning, Olivia Rodrigo was announced as the Global Ambassador of Lancôme.
As a Gen-Z pop girly, Rodrigo has cemented her status as a beauty muse, so the partnership comes as no suprise.
“Embracing your individuality is so important in beauty since there are many unrealistic expectations placed on young women today,” said Rodrigo in the press release. “Lancôme is an iconic and timeless brand that promotes beauty from within and I am honored to be part of their family.”
To spread the news, Rodrigo posed wearing her signature punky glam red lipstick and sleek bouncy hair paired with eye-catching wispy lashes. Of course, her makeup artist Melissa Hernandez used all Lancôme for the look. She wore the brand’s Teint Idole Ultra 24H Long Wear Matte Foundation, which created a soft, matte finish. To craft her subtle wing she used the Idôle Ultra Precise Eyeliner, and for lashes she wore the Cils Booster XL Lash Primer and the Définicils High Definition Lengthening Mascara. Rodrigo’s red pout was the centerpiece of the makeup look, created using the L’Absolu Rogue Cream Lipstick in shade 132 Caprice de Rouge.
“I am incredibly proud to welcome Olivia to the Lancôme family,” shared Françoise Lehmann, Lancôme’s International Brand President, in the same release. “We’re all captivated by her striking personality and immense talent, and inspired by her commitment to positive change—which we value deeply at Lancôme—pouring her true heart and emotion into everything she does. Turning personal stories into music that resonates universally, few artists of her generation connect with this many people across continents and generations like Olivia.”
Ditto! We couldn’t have said it better ourselves. Congrats to our bonafide beauty girl and all the great Lancôme looks to come.
