If I could be anyone when I grow up, I’d be Pamela Anderson. She’s the co-founder of cool-girl skincare brand, Sonsie Skin, she’s a fashion and beauty icon, and I love that she embraces a less-is-more makeup look in a sea of soft glams and smoky eyes. It only makes sense, then, that her nails are equally as pared-back, and her latest manicure is going straight to my minimalist mood board.
Throughout the latter half of the year, the actor has been on a press tour for her upcoming film, The Last Showgirl, which she stars in alongside Brenda Song and Jamie Lee Curtis. For her latest stop, Anderson arrived at the Film Independent screening in Los Angeles wearing an all-white outfit and a sheer milky manicure.

This fall, most celebs are opting for chocolate browns and moody black hues, so Anderson’s sheer nail look is a refreshing switch up. The milky style is always a constant on red carpets and for good reason—the glowy top coat catches the light, and the sheer coat of nude polish creates the perfect your-nails-but-better look. The actor’s nails were the poster child for the style, and featured a pinky-white sheer coat of polish on her naturally almond-shaped nails.
You likely have all the tools at home required to recreate Anderson’s manicure. Simply take OPI’s Funny Bunny or another similar white polish and paint on two sheer coats. Next, apply a glossy top coat, and voilá, you have a Pam Anderson-approved manicure.

As expected, Anderson’s glam was low-key and glowy, with just a hint of blush and maybe a touch of bronzer placed across her cheeks. The makeup was complete with a soft pink lipstick.
The queen of minimalism has spoken: Milky manicures are so back.
