CIGMAN CM-G02 Cross Line Laser

The CIGMAN CM-G02 Crosshair Laser projects horizontal and vertical laser lines and features an automatic leveling function to ensure precise alignment work. Green laser technology offers 4 times the visibility of red laser line devices.

Do I necessarily need a construction tripod?

No. The cross line laser has a flat base. You can also place it on a table or chair. The CM-G02 has two threaded mount options, so you can also mount it on a standard camera tripod.

Is special protective clothing necessary when working with a cross line laser?

No. Just note that it is a class two laser beam. You should therefore never look directly into the laser, as this could damage your retina. However, if the laser beam briefly shines into your eye while you are working, this is less serious.

What can help if the laser beams of the cross line laser are too weak?

In this case, there are several options. The quickest and easiest option is to darken the room. For example, close the shutters or curtains. If, on the other hand, you are working outside, you could wait until dusk. You will be able to see the laser beams much better at night. If you have already tried these tricks and they have not worked, you should use accessories. A laser target board, a receiver or laser goggles will help in this case.

In manual mode, the laser flashes every few seconds. Is this normal?

In manual mode (tilt mode), the laser line flashes approximately every 5 seconds to remind the user that the laser is not in self-leveling mode.

(Note: Most cross line lasers are not designed for outdoor use. The laser beams are barely visible in bright sunlight. Even indoors, you must pay attention to the brightness of the room. If too much sun comes through a window, the visibility of the lines will suffer).
