Selena Gomez’s Glam High Ponytail Has Princess Energy

No that’s not a princess, it’s Selena Gomez in a high ponytail! But, if you blinked twice you might’ve thought the actor was about to be crowned with a headpiece full of jewels and given the keys to a small European country. The Emilia Perez star is off to another press-filled weekend for the upcoming film, and her latest updo is checking off all the boxes.

Yesterday, October 10, Gomez arrived in London for the first day of the London Film Festival in a chic Schiaparelli black gown and a trendy lip gloss manicure. Today, October 11, she switched up her go-to all-black ensemble and bouncy blowout formula for a red princess gown and a prom-queen-worthy high ponytail.

Crafted by hairstylist Renato Campora, Gomez was giving all the glamour. Her hair was slicked back into a high ponytail, with a piece of hair wrapped around the base of the pony for a refined touch (the small addition has a big impact). Her hair was parted down the center to carve out two face-framing strands that curled outwards. The finishing touch? The very ends of her pony were curled upward. It was all-around the quintessential pretty pony updo.

Hung Vanngo did the makeup, which stuck to Gomez’s usual soft glam approach. The makeup artist opted for a subtle bronzy eyeshadow moment that was paired with the tiniest bit of pink blush and a matching rosy lipgloss.

Erin Walsh styled Gomez in an Oscar de la Renta gown that paired so well with her glam for the night. The high ponytail added to the voluminous feel of the dress, plus it left room for her diamond earrings and necklace to be front and center.

What’s more to say? Gomez looks fab and the high ponytail needs to be added to her regular red carpet glam, ASAP.
