Sofia Richie’s Fall Makeup Routine Is a Lesson In High-Low Beauty

If you’re anything like me, you might be just a bit obsessed with Sofia Richie Grainge. Her quiet-luxury style is, of course, aspirational, but she has the essence of a fun best friend that I find so relatable (her friendship with Jake Shane is a great example). Speaking of, her new-mom makeup routine is unexpectedly similar to mine—we both use the same skin tint and lip oil, and we tracked down some of her go-to products that you can find at the drugstore.

Grainge posted a casual “Get ready with me” TikTok on November 9. With a funky Daft Punk remix in the background, she gave a breakdown of her current makeup routine from foundation to mascara. As the queen of the “stealth wealth” aesthetic, you’d guess her rotation would include pricey, luxury products, but it had the ideal high-low balance.

With her hair swept up in a messy bun, Grainge starts off by applying the Hourglass Veil Hydrating Skin Tint—a favorite of Hailey Bieber as well—using a sponge to blend everything in. Next, she swipes the Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Concealer under her eyes before going in with the Nudestix Nudies Matte Cream Bronzer on her cheeks. For blush, she dots on the Rhode Pocket Blush in what looks like the shade Freckle, a mauve dusty rose, across her cheeks before setting her face using the Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Pressed Powder.

After powdering, Grainge goes in with the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush and the beloved drugstore Butter Bronzer from Physicians Formula on her cheek bones. She dots on a few beauty marks using a freckle pen, before fluffing up her brows using a gold-packaged brow gel.

Grainge pauses to swipe on some Carmex Lip Balm, putting her dark plum manicure front-and-center. To add a little shine she applies the Suratt Lid Lacquer eye gloss in a shimmery champagne color all over her eyelids, brushing on an older Dior bronzy shadow quad in her lower lash line before topping her lashes with Maybelline’s Lash Sensational Mascara.

To complete the look, she lined her pout using NYX’s Suede Matte Lip Liner (the $6 liner is a cult classic) before adding Merit’s Shade Slick Lip Oil in a pinky-red shade all over her lips.

Easygoing and chic, Grainge’s routine is the perfect light-glam look for everyday. We’re taking notes (clearly) and the next time I’m at the store, I’ll be reaching to try her favorite lip liner.
