Some love Halloween for the candy, others love it for the scary films, but for me, the best part about spooky season is the celebrity costume photoshoots. Maybe it’s an unpopular opinion, but I love to see how each celebrity puts their own twist on classic characters. As the day rolls on, we’re starting to get our first looks, and one of the best so far is Tyla’s twist on the 1994 film, The Flinstones.
Tyla took to Instagram to post photos from her Flinstone-themed shoot, where she was dressed in the tiger print two piece inspired by the character Sharon Stone (played by Halle Berry). For the transformation, Tyla opted for a matching animal print take on the classic French manicure.

The best part about a French manicure is that there’s so much room to add some personal flair. Tyla’s latest set is the perfect example. Crafted by nail artist Mei Kawajiri, the singer’s manicure featured a sharp almond shape with a milky white base, swapping the white tips for a tiger print. Kawajiri hand-painted tiger stripes, dotting the borders of the tips with orange gemstones for some extra shine.
Not only was it the best finishing touch to her costume, but it’s simply a cool manicure on it’s own. The “Water” singer also wore the look to the CFDA awards in New York earlier this week.

Coincidentally, it’s now the second time today Halle Berry has served as costume inspiration: Halle Bailey paid homage to the actor’s character Jinx from the 2002 James Bond Film for her Halloween costume. Of course, Tyla tried on the actor’s signature pixie cut for her costume.

A sickening costume, a cool manicure, and a pixie cut revival all at once? Tyla might’ve just won Halloween.
